Disclaimers
After a client selects a certain level of service, the PitchBuilder editor may request an upgrade after the initial evaluation. If the client insists on the original level of service, PitchBuilder is not responsible for any language issues that are pointed out during the review process. In addition, we are not responsible for free reworking of the manuscript if the client adds or modifies text in the final, complete manuscript or fails to accept the language changes and suggestions made by the Pittsburgh editor after the Pittsburgh touch-up service is completed, resulting in language problems being pointed out by the submitting journal.
Service Time Frame Guarantee
We promise our clients that we will finish editing/translating/reviewing the manuscript within the specified time limit, and return the revised manuscript, translation, and various review reports to the client. In case of overdue return, a portion of the project fee will be refunded to the client according to the following criteria.
- 5% of the total project cost will be refunded if the time limit for return is more than 12 hours and less than 24 hours.
- 10% of the total project cost will be refunded if the time limit for return is more than 24 hours and less than 48 hours.
- 20% of the total project cost will be refunded if the time limit for return is exceeded by more than 48 hours.
Note: As the number of our manuscripts has increased significantly, the workload of our customer service and technical staff has become increasingly stressful. Therefore, please understand that we do not accept requests to rush editors to return manuscripts or have editors return manuscripts earlier than the deadline for returning manuscripts.
